Happy Labor Day!
Getting ready to go out on the lake.
Keira had her 2 month check up on Wednesday, Sept. 2 and she weighs 11lbs. 6oz. and 23 inches. She's in the 75% for height and weight. Her head measures 14 3/4" which is in the 50%.
Knowing that she was getting shots, Dave chickened out, so he left me to do the dirty work. She got 3 shots. The poor baby cried so hard it made me cry too. I felt so bad for her. She was so happy just before it happened and BAM! BAM! BAM! She didn't even know it was coming.
She's been smiling and cooing all the time now. She is also sleeping a good 8 hours. She is such a happy baby. She loves to play under her activity center and look at all the different animals. She also loves getting her baths. Her arms and legs start moving so fast once the water is turned on.
Tomorrow, she'll be going on her first airplane ride to Arizona. She is going to visit her Granny and Grandpa, Aunt Kelli, Uncle Brad, and her cousins (Matt, Alisha, Spencer, Travis, Erin, and John). I think the experience of flying with an infant will be easy this time around. Christmas may be a different story when she is older.
